SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Charles E. Anderson of Moline, who passed 
4away on May 20, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Charles Anderson was born in Davenport, Iowa to 
6Clark and Ruth Justice Anderson on December 28, 1932; he was 
7first married to Mary Ellen Quinn; he later married Sharon K. 
8Witmer in Andalusia on December 7, 1974; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Charles Anderson was employed with Saelens 
10Beverage, Inc. for over 25 years; he then worked at Bi-State 
11Packaging until his retirement; and
  
 
  
12    WHEREAS, Charles Anderson was preceded in death by his 
13second wife, Sharon; his parents; his son-in-law, Curt Welsh; 
14and his brother, Gene Anderson; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Charles Anderson is survived by his children, 
16Linda (Jack) Loving, Lorrie Welsh, Charles E. Anderson II, and 
17Jeremy Anderson; his granddaughter, Brandi Welsh; one niece; 
18and one nephew; therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
20ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of

1Charles E. Anderson, and extend our sincere condolences to his 
2family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it

4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
