SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Oveal "Andy" Anderson of Waukegan, who 
4passed away on May 10, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Oveal Anderson was born in Red Bay, Alabama to 
6Vollie and Evia Anderson; he moved to the  Waukegan area and 
7lived on Green Bay Road for over 60 years; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Oveal Anderson and his wife, Regina, formerly 
9owned and operated Ma and Pa's Corner Store and Citgo in 
10Waukegan; he was also a truck driver and mechanic for RC Cola; 
11and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Oveal Anderson was a member of Teamsters Union 
13#301; he enjoyed driving and building race cars; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Oveal Anderson was preceded in death by his wife, 
15Regina (Files); his daughter, Deanna Anderson; his parents; and 
16six siblings; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Oveal Anderson is survived by his children, Thomas 
18Anderson, Cheryl (Michael) Green, and Lori (John) Davis; his  
19grandchildren, Kelly, Crystal, and Andrew Green, Gary, Joseph, 
20and Jacob Halas, and Jeffrey Krueger Jr.; seven

1great-grandchildren; and four siblings; therefore, be it
  
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
4Oveal "Andy" Anderson, and extend our sincere condolences to 
5his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
6further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to  the family of  Oveal Anderson as an expression of 
9our deepest sympathy.
