| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Daniel Joseph Doherty of Chicago, who |
| 4 | | passed away at the age of 90; and

| 5 | | WHEREAS, Daniel Doherty was a native of Clonmany, Donegal, |
| 6 | | Ireland; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Daniel Doherty was the beloved husband of the late |
| 8 | | Kathleen (McDonagh) Doherty; the loving father of Maureen |
| 9 | | (John) Osborne, Brian (Rose), William (Karen), Daniel (Laura), |
| 10 | | Edward C.F.D. (Gina), Thomas (Anastasia), Eileen (Greg |
| 11 | | Stanecki), the late Peggy, and the late Kevin Doherty; the |
| 12 | | proud papa of 17; the great-grandfather of three; and the dear |
| 13 | | brother of Eugene, William, Peggy, Mary, Maeliosa, Teresa, and |
| 14 | | the late George, Hugh, Bridget, and Edward; therefore, be it

| 15 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL |
| 16 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 17 | | Daniel Joseph Doherty, and extend our sincere condolences to |
| 18 | | his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it |
