| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Leonard Szczesny of Villa Park, who |
| 4 | | passed away on June 1, 2016; and

| 5 | | WHEREAS, Leonard Szczesny was born on September 26, 1924; |
| 6 | | and

| 7 | | WHEREAS, Leonard Szczesny is the beloved husband of Ruth; |
| 8 | | the loving father of Jim (Cyndi) and Judith (Daniel) McClughen; |
| 9 | | the cherished grandfather of Aaron Szczesny, Carrie Ann |
| 10 | | Szczesny, Emilie (Bo) Totten, Daniel (Marie) McClughen, Mark |
| 11 | | (Paula) McClughen, and Zachary McClughen; the adored |
| 12 | | great-grandfather of Tex Totten and Samantha McClughen; the |
| 13 | | brother of Marion (the late Theodore) Marcis, Evelyn (the late |
| 14 | | Allon) MacAlister, and the late Esther (James) Marten; and the |
| 15 | | uncle of many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

| 16 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL |
