SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Delmar "Loren" Gross III of Springfield, 
4who passed away on June 26, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Delmar Gross III was born in Decatur to Delmar 
6Loren II and Gail Lockwood Gross on July 23, 1973; he served in 
7the United States Navy and married Jacqueline Willhite on 
8November 13, 2009; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Delmar Gross III was a supervisor at Landmark 
10Environmental for five years and previously was an electrician; 
11and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Delmar Gross III was a member of the National 
13Rifle Association; and
  
 
  
14    WHEREAS, Delmar Gross III is survived by his wife, 
15Jacqueline; his son, Devin Tom; his father, Loren (Donna) 
16Gross; his mother, Gail (Edward) Anderson; his brothers and 
17sisters, Matthew (Vicki) Schaal, Luke (Michelle) Schaal, 
18Christi (Patrick) Grant, Shawne (Dwan) Gross, Cody (Melissa) 
19Patterson, Joshua Gross, and Carrie (Vincent) Pop; and several 
20aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Delmar "Loren" Gross III, and extend our sincere condolences to 
4his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to  the family of  Delmar Gross III as an expression of 
8our deepest sympathy.
