| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Kenneth Ray Lamb of Greenfield, who |
| 4 | | passed away on June 25, 2016; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Kenneth Lamb was born on July 29, 1956 at Boyd |
| 6 | | Memorial Hospital in Carrollton; his parents were Robert D. and |
| 7 | | Netta LaVern Lamb; he married Lissa Linn on February 28, 1976 |
| 8 | | in Carrollton; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Kenneth Lamb was a lifelong resident of |
| 10 | | Greenfield; he graduated from Greenfield High School in 1974; |
| 11 | | and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Kenneth Lamb worked for the family business, Bob |
| 13 | | Lamb Company, Inc., before he graduated from high school; he |
| 14 | | eventually became the owner and operator of the company; he |
| 15 | | enjoyed working there with his parents, children, other family |
| 16 | | members, and his employees, who were also his close friends; |
| 17 | | and
|
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Kenneth Lamb was the president of Woodbine Country |
| 19 | | Club for many years; he was a member of the Greenfield Tiger |
| 20 | | Backers and served as a grill master for its fundraisers; he |
| 21 | | was also a member of the St. Michael's Men's Club and the Grain |

| 1 | | and Feed Association; and
|
| 2 | | WHEREAS, Kenneth Lamb was an avid outdoorsman; he enjoyed |
| 3 | | hunting, fishing, hunting for mushrooms, golfing, and spending |
| 4 | | time on the lake with his family and friends; he also loved |
| 5 | | classic cars and enjoyed driving his convertibles in local |
| 6 | | parades; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Kenneth Lamb was preceded in death by his parents; |
| 8 | | and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Kenneth Lamb is survived by his wife, Lissa; his |
| 10 | | sons, Jake (Beth), Luke, and Thad (Rachel); his daughter, Abby |
| 11 | | (Randy) Schnettgoecke; his grandchildren, Maizee, Adalinn, |
| 12 | | Avery, London, Sophie, Sawyer, Fallyn, and Farrah Lamb and |
| 13 | | Halley, Clay, Landry, and Maeve Schnettgoecke; his brothers, |
| 14 | | Robert J. Lamb and Eric (Lesta) Lamb; and his sister, Melissa |
| 15 | | (Tom) Pantier; therefore, be it

| 16 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL |
| 17 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his |
| 18 | | family and friends, mourn the passing of Kenneth Ray Lamb; and |
| 19 | | be it further
