SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Annabelle W. Ambrose of Waukegan, who 
4passed away on May 26, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Annabelle Ambrose was born in Chicago to Paul 
6Westerhouse and Elsie Westerhouse on April 3, 1920; she moved 
7to Westmont in 1924  and graduated from Hinsdale High in 1938; 
8and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Annabelle Ambrose moved to Waukegan in 1939 and  
10worked at Abbotts; she married Ralph Ambrose in 1941 and  
11stopped working to raise her family; she later worked for the 
12Waukegan School District as a secretary from 1973 to 1985 
13before retiring; and
  
 
  
14    WHEREAS, Annabelle Ambrose was preceded in death by her 
15husband, Ralph Ambrose; her sons, Ronald Ambrose and Paul 
16Ambrose; her parents; her brother, Captain Paul Westerhouse; 
17and her sister, Carol Graham; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Annabelle Ambrose is survived by her son, Brian 
19Ambrose; her grandchildren, Brandon Ambrose, Ryan Ambrose, and 
20Danielle (Ambrose) Bucher; her great-grandchildren, Dylan and 
21Brian Ambrose, and Jacob and Baileigh Bucher; and numerous

1nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends; therefore, be it
  
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
4Annabelle W. Ambrose, and extend our sincere condolences to her 
5family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it 
6further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to  the family of  Annabelle Ambrose as an expression 
9of our deepest sympathy.
