SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  John G. Lovelace of North Chicago, who 
4passed away on June 16, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, John Lovelace was born on January 16, 1927 in 
6Florence, Alabama; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, John Lovelace served his country in the United 
8States Army; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, John Lovelace retired from the United States Steel 
10Waukegan Works after many years of service; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, John Lovelace was preceded in death by his wife, 
12Bertha Lovelace; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, John Lovelace is survived by his sons, John 
14(Sylvia) Lovelace, Jr. and Clarence (Candy) Luster; his 
15daughter, Joyce Green; eight grandchildren; and many other 
16relatives and friends; therefore, be it
  
 
17    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
18ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
19family and friends, mourn the passing of John G. Lovelace; and
