SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Danny D. Hudson of Lake in the Hills, who 
4passed away on June 10, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Danny Hudson was born to Paul and Mary Hudson on 
6August 11, 1940; he served in the United States Navy from 1958 
7to 1960 on the USS Essex; he was a resident of Lake in the Hills 
8for 47 years; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Danny Hudson was actively involved in the 
10community and served as a Village Trustee and President of the 
11Police Pension Board; he had passions for many things: 
12gardening, sailing, music, and a good old fashioned weenie 
13roast with his family; and
  
 
  
14    WHEREAS, Danny Hudson was preceded in death by his wife of 
1557 years, Joan Hudson; his daughter, Molly Hudson; his parents; 
16and his grandson, Jeff Hudson; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Danny Hudson is survived by his sons, Michael and 
18Mark; his daughter, Michele (Gerald) Kavanaugh; his 
19grandchildren, Michael, Travis, Tayler, Riley Hudson, and Kate 
20and Matthew Kavanaugh; his great-grandson, Jordan Hudson; his 
21sibling, Sandy Johnston; and many nieces, nephews,

1great-nieces, and great-nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
4Danny D. Hudson, and extend our sincere condolences to his 
5family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
6further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to  the family of  Danny Hudson as an expression of our 
9deepest sympathy.
