SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Jean B. Nemcek of Des Plaines, who passed 
4away on July 3, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Jean Nemcek was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin to 
6Alice (Glover) and Edward W. Buell; she was a resident of 
7Melrose Park for almost 60 years; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Jean Nemcek was employed as a registered nurse for 
9over 30 years with the Veterans Administration; and
  
 
  
10    WHEREAS, Jean Nemcek was preceded in death by her husband, 
11George M. Nemcek, and her brother, Edward K. Buell; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Jean Nemcek is survived by her son, George E. 
13(Julia) Nemcek, and  her grandchildren, Brock and Sabrina; 
14therefore, be it
  
 
15    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
16ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
17Jean B. Nemcek, and extend our sincere condolences to her 
18family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
