SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Genevieve Frances Michel of Woodstock,
4who passed away on July 2, 2016; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Genevieve Michel was born in St. Louis, Missouri
6to Anthony Lowe and Mary Kemp on July 3, 1946; she lived in
7Wonder Lake until moving to the Valley Hi Nursing Home in
8Woodstock 13 years ago; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Genevieve Michel worked in Quality Control for the
10Prem Magnetics in Johnsburg; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Genevieve Michel was involved with St. Patrick
12Catholic Church in Hartland through its ministry with Valley Hi
13Nursing Home; she enjoyed gardening, collecting Angels, and
14playing BINGO; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Genevieve Michel was preceded in death by her
16parents and by her son, David Evans; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Genevieve Michel is survived by her daughter,
18Justine (Shaun) Baker; her son, Bruce Michel; her grandson,
19Maxwell Baker; her sister, Christine (Scott) Gordon; her
20brother, William Lowe; many nieces and nephews; and her family

1at Valley Hi Nursing Home; therefore, be it
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
4Genevieve Frances Michel, and extend our sincere condolences to
5her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
6further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Genevieve Michel as an expression of
9our deepest sympathy.
