SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Marilyn N. Zierer, who passed away on 
4June 18, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Marilyn Zierer was born on February 5, 1942 in 
6Elgin; her parents were Henry and Amanda Deackman; she married 
7Karl Zierer on October 5, 1962 at the Hanover Church in 
8Streamwood; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Marilyn Zierer assisted her husband in the 
10operation of their dairy farms in the Hampshire and Huntley 
11areas; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Marilyn Zierer was a former member of St. John 
13United Church of Christ in Harmony; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Marilyn Zierer was preceded in death by her 
15parents and her sister-in-law, Carol Deackman; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Marilyn Zierer is survived by her husband, Karl; 
17her son, Henry Zierer; her brother, Heinrich Deackman; her 
18niece, Lori (Scott) Douglas; and her nephew, John (Deb) 
19Deackman; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her 
3family and friends, mourn the passing of Marilyn N. Zierer; and 
4be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Marilyn Zierer as an expression of 
7our sympathy.
