SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  George W. Houston of Hebron, who passed 
4away on July 23, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, George Houston was born on February 7, 1932 in 
6Travis County, Texas; his parents were Ananias and Viola 
7Houston; he married Mary Susan Schmitt on January 26, 1979 in 
8Las Vegas, Nevada; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, George Houston was an active and valued member of 
10St. John's Lutheran Church in Hebron; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, George Houston was preceded in death by his 
12daughter, Renee; and

  
 
13    WHEREAS, George Houston is survived by his wife, Mary 
14Susan; his daughters, Denise, Leslie, Lauren, and Lonnie; his 
15grandchildren, William, Garrett, Precious, Jessica, Marty, 
16Johnathan, Tony, Jackson, and Jordan; and four 
17great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
20family and friends, mourn the passing of George W. Houston; and
