SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Angela Amici, who passed away on July 19, 
42016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Angela Amici was born in Chicago to Michael and 
6Josephine (Geraci) Azzaro on December 6, 1929; she married 
7Anthony "Pat" Amici in Chicago on May 28, 1949; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Angela Amici loved to sing and taught voice 
9lessons in McHenry for over 50 years; she sang with the Lyric 
10Opera in Chicago and for the last 40 years of her life; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Angela Amici was very active in the McHenry Choral 
12Club; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Angela Amici was preceded in death by her husband, 
14Anthony; her  parents; and her brother, Richard Azzaro; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Angela Amici is survived by her children, Linda 
16(Bob) Joyce, Michael (Marla) Amici, Mark Amici, and Lisa (Ron) 
17Leininger; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; one 
18great-great grandson; her brother, Vince (Kathleen) Azzaro; 
19her sister, Gerry (Arnie) Sambel; and her sister-in-law, Janet 
20Azzaro; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Angela Amici, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, 
4friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to  the family of  Angela Amici as an expression of our 
7deepest sympathy.
