SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Betsy A. Wyatt of White Hall, who passed
4away on July 30, 2016; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Betsy Wyatt was born in Quincy to William P. and
6Marie (Ulmer) Schmidt on February 27, 1929; she married
7Clifford H. Wyatt at St. John's Catholic Church in Carrollton
8on November 26, 1947; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Betsy Wyatt was a dedicated wife, mother,
10grandmother, and great-grandmother; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Betsy Wyatt was preceded in death by her husband,
12Clifford; her sons, Stephen Douglas Wyatt and William Douglas
13Wyatt; her brothers, Lawrence Schmidt and Walter Schmidt; and
14her sisters, Leone Stendeback and Norma Murphy; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Betsy Wyatt is survived by her daughters, Susan
16(Anthony) Licata, Brenda (Donald) Keeling, and Lisa (Dick)
17Jones; her son, Patrick Wyatt; seven grandchildren; 10
18great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and her
19daughter-in-law, Eileen; therefore, be it
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
2Betsy A. Wyatt, and extend our sincere condolences to her
3family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
4further
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
6presented to the family of Betsy Wyatt as an expression of our
7deepest sympathy.
