SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Richard D. Heider of Moline, who passed
4away on August 1, 2016; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Richard Heider was born on March 19, 1944 in
6Orange County, California; his parents were Betty and Darrel
7Kite; he married Pam Breedlove in 1975; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Richard Heider served in the United States Air
9Force from 1966 to 1970; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Richard Heider earned a master's degree in
11engineering from Texas A & M; he was employed at the Rock
12Island Arsenal for 36 years; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Richard Heider was a very active member of the
14First Christian Church in Moline for 41 years; he was also
15active in Boy Scouts, Indian Guides, and sports with his boys;
16and
 
17    WHEREAS, Richard Heider was preceded in death by his
18parents; his grandparents; and his brother; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Richard Heider is survived by his wife, Pam; his

1sons, Jason and Jeremy; his grandchildren, Sarah and Maddux;
2and his sister, Linda Kelly; therefore, be it
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
5family and friends, mourn the passing of Richard D. Heider; and
6be it further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Richard Heider as an expression of
9our sympathy.
