SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Leland R. Senne of Elk Grove Village, who 
4passed away on August 1, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Leland Senne was born in Mt. Prospect to Heinrich 
6Johann Wilhelm and Margaret Anna (Kanning) Senne on July 14, 
71929; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Leland Senne served in the United States Air Force 
9in the medical division during the Korean War; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Leland Senne was a truck driver for CLCC for over 
1120 years; and
  
 
  
12    WHEREAS, Leland Senne was preceded in death by his parents; 
13and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Leland Senne is survived by his wife of 60 years, 
15Melodee (Tessler); his daughters, Cheryl (Ted) Slowik, Caren 
16(Henry) Krolikiewicz, and Lynette (Rick) Tierney; his 
17grandchildren, Teddy (Sara), Michael (Becca), Dana (Bobby), 
18Robert, Eric, Danny, Marc, Ricki, and Jack; and his best 
19friend, Lulu; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Leland R. Senne, and extend our sincere condolences to his 
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to  the family of  Leland Senne as an expression of our 
8deepest sympathy.
