SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Theresa L. Dowe of Waukegan, who passed 
4away on July 20, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Theresa Dowe was born in Waukegan to Richard and 
6Minna Drinka on January 2, 1958; she graduated from Waukegan 
7Township High School; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Theresa Dowe worked for the Waukegan News Sun for 
925 years; she had a second career at Edward Jones, where she 
10spent 17 years as a branch office administrator; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Theresa Dowe was a talented craft artist and an 
12enthusiastic gardener; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Theresa Dowe was preceded in death by her father, 
14Richard Drinka, and her brother, Thomas Drink; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Theresa Dowe is survived by her husband, Kevin; 
16her son, Kevin; her mother, Minna; and her siblings, Tim 
17(Kathy) Drinka, Richard Drinka, and Cindy (Maurice) Nixon; 
18therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
2Theresa L. Dowe, and extend our sincere condolences to her 
3family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it

5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to  the family of  Theresa Dowe as an expression of our 
7deepest sympathy.
