SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Lillian E. Trygar of Beach Park, who
4passed away on July 4, 2016; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Lillian Trygar was born in Waukegan to John and
6Helen Lindquist on July 2, 1928 and lived in Waukegan until
7moving to Beach Park; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Lillian Trygar retired from Abbott Labs; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Lillian Trygar was a Girl Scout Leader and a
10member of the Altar and Rosary Society at Immaculate Conception
11Church, AARP, and the Ambassador Club of Norstates Bank; she
12was also a volunteer at St. Therese Hospital for many years;
13and
 
14    WHEREAS, Lillian Trygar enjoyed crafts, sewing, knitting,
15and crocheting; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Lillian Trygar was preceded in death by her
17parents; her sons-in-law, Alan Grissom and Alfred Juras; her
18daughter-in-law, Patricia Trygar; her in-laws, Jay Owens, Matt
19and Marge Trygar, Harry and Josephine Allen, John Tucka Sr.,
20Lottie and Frank Krainc, and Dr. James Warner; and

1    WHEREAS, Lillian Trygar is survived by her husband of over
268 years, Henry; her children, Barbara Grissom, Michael, and
3Cynthia Juras; her grandchildren, Stephanie Gagne, Jennifer
4Grissom, and Jeremy Grissom; five great-grandchildren; her
5sister, Nancy Owens; her in-laws, Genevieve Tucka, Stan and
6Martha Trygar, Jeanette Warner, Chester and Sylvia Trygar, and
7Dorothy and Bill Pish; and many nieces and nephews; therefore,
8be it
 
9    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
10ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
11Lillian E. Trygar, and extend our sincere condolences to her
12family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
13further
 
14    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
15presented to the family of Lillian Trygar as an expression of
16our deepest sympathy.
