SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Elizabeth R. "Betty" Napleton; and
  
 
4    WHEREAS, Elizabeth Napleton and her husband, Fran 
5Napleton, were co-founders of the Napleton Auto Group, a 
6multi-state group of auto dealerships; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Elizabeth Napleton was preceded in death by her 
8parents, Robert W. and Evelyn Shea Raynor; her sister, Patricia 
9(Leroy) Utterback; her brothers, Garnet (Marilyn) Raynor and 
10Robert Raynor; she was the devoted daughter-in-law of the late 
11Edward and Cordula Napleton, the loving sister-in-law of the 
12late Harry and Rita Carney, and the fun-loving aunt and friend 
13to many and proud United States Navy World War II veterans; and

  
 
14    WHEREAS, Elizabeth Napleton was the beloved wife of 60 
15years of the late Francis E. Napleton; the loving mother of 
16Ellen (James) Roche, Edward (Katherine) Napleton, Stephen 
17(Carol) Napleton, Gerald (Maribeth) Napleton, Paul (Kathleen) 
18Napleton, Mimi (Daniel) Collins, William (Mary) Napleton, and 
19Robert (Clare) Napleton; the cherished grandmother of 34; and 
20the great-grandmother of 22; therefore, be it
  
 
21    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her 
2family and friends, mourn the passing of Elizabeth R. "Betty" 
3Napleton; and be it further
  
 
4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
5presented to the family of Elizabeth Napleton as an expression 
6of our sympathy.
