SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Daniel Arthur Gallagher, who passed away 
4at the age of 72; and
  
 
  
5    WHEREAS, Daniel Gallagher retired from the Chicago Police 
6Department; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Daniel Gallagher was a proud supporter of the 
8Weber Alumni Association and Notre Dame College Prep; and
  
 
  
9    WHEREAS, Daniel Gallagher was the beloved husband of Donna 
10(Dexl); the devoted father of Colleen (James) Chipman, Patrick 
11CFD (Amy), Michael CPD (Emily), Shannon, Daniel Jr. CPD, James 
12CPD, and Matthew CPD (Erin); the loving grandfather of Jack, 
13Emmett, Emma, Ryan, Matthew, Dillon, and Danny; the dear 
14brother of James M.D. (Dorothy); and the dear brother-in-law, 
15uncle, and friend to many; therefore, be it
  
 
16    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
17ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
18Daniel Arthur Gallagher, and extend our sincere condolences to 
19his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
