SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Erwin George Packard Jr. of McHenry, who 
4passed away on August 15, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Erwin Packard Jr. was born in Whitelake, Wisconsin  
6to Erwin George and Enid Evelyn (Tomlin) Packard on June 7, 
71933; he married Isolde "Pat" Lohbronner in Munich, Germany; 
8and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Erwin Packard Jr. served in the United States Army 
10during the Korean War; and
  
 

  
11    WHEREAS, Erwin Packard Jr. is survived by his wife, Pat; 
12his children, Robert (Sandra) Packard and Terry (Sundae) 
13Packard; his grandchildren, Ashley and Lorenzo; his 
14great-grandchildren, Austin and Leo; his brother, Alfred 
15(Sally) Packard; and many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
16    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
17ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
18Erwin George Packard Jr., and extend our sincere condolences to 
19his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
