SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Harold Ray Fleming of Milan, who passed 
4away on September 7, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Harold Fleming was born on February 23, 1930 in 
6East Springfield, Ohio; his parents were Harold and Mable 
7Markley Fleming; he married Sharon Wilson in 1990 in Geneseo; 
8and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Harold Fleming was a United States Air Force 
10veteran; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Harold Fleming worked as a production manager and 
12ammunitions specialist at the Rock Island Arsenal for many 
13years until he retired in 1985; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Harold Fleming was a member of the Milan American 
15Legion Post 569 and the Independent Order of Odd Fellows; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Harold Fleming was preceded in death by his son, 
17Larry Fleming, and his sisters, Ann, Sandy, Susan, and Irene; 
18and
  
 
19    WHEREAS, Harold Fleming is survived by his wife, Sharon

1Fleming; his children and their spouses, Lorrie Jean (Dennis) 
2Porter, Ronald Ray Fleming, Rhonda K. (Derek) Norberg, Mark 
3David (Kaew) Fleming, and Misty Dawn (Steven) Thiltgen; nine 
4grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; his sister, Marjean 
5Hamrick; his brothers, Charles (Edna) Fleming, Gary Fleming, 
6and Wayne Fleming; therefore, be it
  
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
9family and friends, mourn the passing of Harold Ray Fleming; 
10and be it further
  
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
12presented to the family of Harold Fleming as an expression of 
13our sympathy.
