SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Robert John Logan of East Alton, who 
4passed away on September 18, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Robert Logan was born in Alton on August 28, 1986 
6to David and Theresa (Walters) Logan; he married Kayla 
7Arbuthnot in Wood River on August 18, 2012; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Robert Logan was a teacher and tennis coach for 
9the Alton School District; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Robert Logan enjoyed all sports, especially 
11playing golf; he loved playing and teaching tennis; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Robert Logan was preceded in death by his 
13grandmothers, Margaret Logan, and Jeanne Walters; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Robert Logan is survived by his wife, Kayla; his 
15parents; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mike and Kelly 
16Arbuthnot; his grandparents, John Logan, and Robert Walters; 
17his brothers, Christopher Logan (Casey Parmenter), and Patrick 
18Logan; his  brother-in-law, Aaron Arbuthnot; and several aunts, 
19uncles, and cousins; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Robert John Logan, and extend our sincere condolences to his 
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to  the family of  Robert Logan as an expression of our 
8deepest sympathy.
