2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
3 | | learn of the death of Eric L. Justen of Burbank, California, |
4 | | formerly of Wonder Lake, who passed away on August 11, 2016; |
5 | | and
|
6 | | WHEREAS, Eric Justen was born on August 25, 1972 in |
7 | | Woodstock; his parents were Rick and Mary Justen; he married |
8 | | Cassandra Suarez on May 21, 2016 in Maui, Hawaii; and
|
9 | | WHEREAS, Eric Justen graduated from McHenry High School in |
10 | | 1990 and Columbia College in Chicago, where he majored in |
11 | | sound; and
|
12 | | WHEREAS, Eric Justen worked at various studios before |
13 | | landing a position at Warner Brothers, where he worked as a |
14 | | post-production re-recording mixer for the last nine years; he |
15 | | worked on more than 100 movies and television shows in his |
16 | | lifetime, including the original "The Fast and the Furious"; |
17 | | recently, he was nominated for an Emmy three consecutive times |
18 | | for Outstanding Sound Mixing on the critically acclaimed |
19 | | television show "Breaking Bad" for its three final seasons; he |
20 | | was also part of the team who won the 2014 Motion Picture Sound |
21 | | Editors Award for Best Sound Editing; his last TV show, "Queen |
22 | | Sugar", will air this coming September and will feature a |
