SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Stephen Anthony Rossi of Harvard, who 
4passed away on August 23, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Stephen Rossi was born on September 6, 1942 in 
6Chicago; his parents were Steven and Mary Rossi; he married 
7Marilyn L. Reynolds on September 13, 1975 in Chicago; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Stephen Rossi served in the United States Navy 
9from August 24, 1961 to August of 1967; he was aboard the USS 
10Oak Hill during an atomic bomb detonation test; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Stephen Rossi worked in the Grounds and 
12Maintenance Department for Harvard School District #50; he also 
13worked at the Glenview Naval Air Station; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Stephen Rossi was a member of the Moose Lodge in 
15Harvard; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Stephen Rossi is survived by his spouse, Marilyn; 
17his children, Jeff (Dorothy) Rossi, Ronald (Sara) Nuccio, and 
18Vincent (Jennifer Jackson) Rossi; five grandchildren; his 
19brothers, Donald Rossi and Robert Villerase; and his sister, 
20Diane Delmedico; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
3family and friends, mourn the passing of Stephen Anthony Rossi; 
4and be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Stephen Rossi as an expression of 
7our sympathy.
