SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Jack Edward Ward of Crystal Lake, who
4passed away on September 10, 2016; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Jack Ward was born on November 1, 1925 in
6Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada; his parents were William
7Lewis and Edith Ward; he married Virginia Nowicki on July 3,
81948 in Chicago; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Jack Ward was a veteran of the United States Army
10Air Corps, serving his country during World War II; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Jack Ward enjoyed dancing, traveling, and
12spending time with his wife and his family; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Jack Ward was preceded in death by his siblings,
14Frank and Dorothy; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Jack Ward is survived by his wife, Virginia; his
16children, Sharon (Bob) Meyer, Dan (Yvonne) Ward, and Dave (Sue)
17Ward; his grandchildren, Tricia (Steve) Cerio, Eric (Megan)
18Meyer, Kelly (Kris) Murray, Kari (Chad) Labucki, and Kristin
19(Bryan) Brzycki; and his great-grandchildren, Hailey, Matthew,
20Logan, Jack, Katelyn, Konnor, and Declan; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
3family and friends, mourn the passing of Jack Edward Ward; and
4be it further
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
6presented to the family of Jack Ward as an expression of our
7sympathy.
