SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Verna Darlene Schuette, who passed away
4on August 30, 2016; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Verna Schuette was born on April 21, 1942 in
6Juneau, Wisconsin; her parents were Gaylord Hallie LeMoine and
7Verna Lorraine Long; she married John Henry Schuette on March
828, 1964 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Reedsburg,
9Wisconsin; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Verna Schuette and her husband relocated to
11McHenry in 1970 and resided in Johnsburg; she was an elementary
12school teacher for the McHenry and Johnsburg school districts
13for over three decades; she was also a hair dresser and a
14dedicated Sunday school teacher and missionary; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Verna Schuette was preceded in death by her
16father, Gaylord LeMoine, and her brother, Richard LeMoine; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Verna Schuette is survived by her husband, John;
18her children, Jackie (Alan) Martin, Kathy (Joseph) Smart,
19Stephen (Nicole) Schuette, and Daniel Schuette; her
20grandchildren, Danielle (William) Barber, Chloe Smart, Lincoln
21Smart, Vincent Smart, Josephine Schuette, and Caleb Schuette;

1her mother, Lorraine Long; her brothers, Lyle (Ella Mae)
2LeMoine, Ronnie (Linda) LeMoine, and Gene (Judy) LeMoine; three
3aunts; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins; therefore, be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her
6family and friends, mourn the passing of Verna Darlene
7Schuette; and be it further
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9presented to the family of Verna Schuette as an expression of
10our sympathy.
