SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Genevieve S. Blackowicz of North Chicago; 
4and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Genevieve Blackowicz was born in Waukegan to 
6Joseph and Natalie (Orlowski) Rajuniec on July 14, 1924; she 
7married Leo Blackowicz in North Chicago on July 19, 1947; and
  
 
  
8    WHEREAS, Genevieve Blackowicz was  affectionately known as 
9"Ma" to everyone and loved by all who knew her; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Genevieve Blackowicz was preceded in death by her 
11parents and her husband of over 50 years, Leo; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Genevieve Blackowicz is survived by her sons, 
13Robert (Patricia) Blackowicz, David Blackowicz (Pam Ingram),  
14and Michael Blackowicz Sr.; her grandchildren, Jason, Jeremy, 
15Amanda, Sam, and Michael Jr.; and numerous 
16great-grandchildren, including Ethan, Ella, and Andon; 
17therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
20Genevieve S. Blackowicz, and extend our sincere condolences to

1her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it

3    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
