SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Brigid T. Boyle of North Chicago, who
4passed away on October 17, 2016; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Brigid Boyle was born on October 15, 1939 in
6Waukegan; her parents were Fred and Madge Boyle; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Brigid Boyle graduated from Holy Child High School
8in Waukegan in 1957; she furthered her education at Xavier
9College in Chicago and the University of Wisconsin; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Brigid Boyle was a woman of faith who dedicated
11her entire life to teaching at various schools, including
12Mother of God Grade School in Waukegan and its successor, Lake
13Shore Catholic Academy; following her retirement, she
14continued to serve as a substitute teacher at the consolidated
15Most Blessed Trinity Academy in Waukegan; she will be fondly
16remembered by her students as an incredible educator who loved
17children and shared with them her passion for social studies,
18especially the Constitution, and who could always be seen at
19school events, inspiring and motivating all of her students and
20taking their pictures; and
 
21    WHEREAS, Brigid Boyle was preceded in death by her parents

1and her siblings, Daniel, Mary, and John; and
 
2    WHEREAS, Brigid Boyle is survived by her siblings, Marge
3Buckner and Gene (Joann) Boyle, and many nieces and nephews;
4therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her
7family and friends, mourn the passing of Brigid T. Boyle; and
8be it further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Brigid Boyle as an expression of our
11sympathy.
