SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Mary T. Janocha of North Chicago, who
4passed away on October 8, 2016; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Mary Janocha was born on February 27, 1927 in
6North Chicago and was a lifelong resident; her parents were
7Stanley and Catherine Janocha; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Mary Janocha worked as a secretary at North
9Chicago High School for many years until her retirement; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Mary Janocha was a member of Queen of Peace
11Catholic Church in North Chicago, the Catholic Women's Club of
12Lake County, and the PRCU Polish Roman Catholic Union; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Mary Janocha was preceded in death by her parents;
14her brothers, Joseph, Ted, and Anthony; her niece, Ann
15Lakiotis; her nephew, Andy Janocha; and her brothers-in-law,
16Robert Belec and Arthur Isaacson; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Mary Janocha is survived by her sisters, Ann
18Janocha, Theresa Belec, and Josephine Isaacson; her special
19godchild, Cathie (Michael) Malone; and many nieces and nephews;
20therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her
3family and friends, mourn the passing of Mary T. Janocha; and
4be it further
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
6presented to the family of Mary Janocha as an expression of our
7sympathy.
