SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Madeleine V. "Maddy" Hickey, who passed 
4away on September 9, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Madeleine Hickey was born on December 13, 1985 in 
6New York, New York; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Madeleine Hickey was a graduate of Niles North 
8High School, Class of 2004, where she was active in theatre and 
9vocal jazz; she subsequently studied theatre at the University 
10of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Madeleine Hickey worked professionally as a nurse 
12for the past 3 years; she was known as a devoted nurse who took 
13care of the sick, as well as a wonderful singer and talented 
14actor; and

  
 
15    WHEREAS, Madeleine Hickey is survived by her children, 
16Bobby, Jack, and Joe Tansey; her parents, Torry and Jack 
17Hickey; and her brother, John Hickey; therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her 
20family and friends, mourn the passing of Madeleine V. "Maddy"
