SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Thomas J. Murray of McHenry, who passed 
4away on October 16, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Thomas Murray was born on July 19, 1945 in 
6Chicago; his parents were Thomas and Catherine Murray; he 
7married the love of his life, Anita, on October 6, 1973 at Our 
8Lady of Mount Carmel in Chicago; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Thomas Murray served in the United States Army 
10during the Vietnam War; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Thomas Murray was an avid fan of the  Chicago Bears 
12and Chicago Cubs; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Thomas Murray was preceded in death by his parents 
14and his sister, Margaret Murrin; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Thomas Murray is survived by his loving wife of 43 
16years, Anita; his sons, Thomas M. and Ryan J. Murray; and his 
17sister, Catherine Souza; therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his

1family and friends, mourn the passing of Thomas J. Murray; and 
2be it further
  
 
3    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
4presented to the family of Thomas Murray as an expression of 
5our sympathy.
