SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Pauline A. Young of Woodstock, who passed
4away on October 28, 2016; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Pauline Young was born on April 1, 1927 in
6Woodstock; her parents were Mathew and Elsie Schmarje; she
7married Carl W.B. Young on June 4, 1949 in Woodstock; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Pauline Young was a nurse for Dr. Paul for 38
9years; after his passing, she worked at the Kishwaukee Medical
10Center for many years; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Pauline Young was a Sunday school teacher for over
1240 years; she also volunteered as a Boy Scout troop leader; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Pauline Young enjoyed gardening, knitting, and
14spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren;
15and
 
16    WHEREAS, Pauline Young was preceded in death by her
17husband, Carl Young; her son, Jace Young; her grandson, Tyler
18Young; and her siblings, Ed Schmarje, Don Schmarje, Ralph
19Schmarje, Les Schmarje, Helen Corey, and Eleanor Mungle; and

1    WHEREAS, Pauline Young is survived by her children, Mike
2(Peg) Young, Brian (Mary) Young, Clark Young, Garth Young,
3Aaron Young, and Brett (Susie) Young; her grandchildren,
4Heather, Amber, Autumn, Dave, Sarah, Kristie, Shawna, Renae,
5Carl, Tyler, Brandi, Rhiannon, Johnny, Jason, Jessica, Jacob,
6Ben, and Sydney; and her great-grandchildren, Jillian, Dylan,
7AJ, Samantha, Kiley, Bailey, Ambre, Chloe, Casey Jo, Calvin,
8Ila, Natalia, Ellyiana, Mya, Emma, Riley, Reagan, Dakota,
9Brantley, Leanna, Wyitt, and Coltin; therefore, be it
 
10    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
11ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her
12family and friends, mourn the passing of Pauline A. Young; and
13be it further
 
14    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
15presented to the family of Pauline Young as an expression of
16our sympathy.
