SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Joseph Paul Haar, Sr. of Alton, who 
4passed away on November 9, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Joseph Haar, Sr. proudly served his country in the 
6United States Air Force from 1960 to 1964; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Joseph Haar, Sr. was a member of the Local 90 
8Cement Masons and St. Patrick and St. Ambrose Churches; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Joseph Haar, Sr. loved his God, his family, and 
10his garden; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Joseph Haar, Sr. was preceded in death by his 
12parents and his sister; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Joseph Haar, Sr. is survived by his wife of 54 
14years, Lucille; his children and their spouses, Joe, JoAnne 
15(Vernon) Curvey, Michael (Sarah), Derek (Dee), and Louise 
16Haar-Chapman (Jason); his grandchildren, Rachel, Joshua, 
17Haley, Joseph, Kalyn, Emily, Michael D., Matthew, Samantha, 
18Claudia, and Atticus; one great grandchild on the way; his 
19uncle, Charles Young; and his aunt, Shirley Haar; therefore, be

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
3family and friends, mourn the passing of Joseph Paul Haar, Sr.; 
4and be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Joseph Haar, Sr. as an expression of 
7our sympathy.
