SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Francis "Frank" Deppe of Saddlebrook 
4Farms, who passed away on November 2, 2016 at the age of 93; 
5and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Francis Deppe served with the United States  Marine 
7Corps from 1942 to 1945, serving for a time at Pearl Harbor; 
8and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Francis Deppe was a member of St. Mary of Vernon 
10Seniors Club; he enjoyed playing poker with his friends and was 
11an avid Chicago Cubs fan; and
  
 

  
12    WHEREAS, Francis Deppe is survived by his wife of 73 years, 
13Frances "Fran" (Riley); his children, Mary D. (Fred) 
14Hershberger, Riesa L. Deppe, and John (CeeCee) Deppe; his 
15grandchildren, Kelly (Doug) Gray, Kerrie Sullivan, Jason 
16(Rhonda) Fitzgerald, Tiffany Hoerning, Brian (Michelle) 
17Sutter, Shannon (Michael) Dooley, Ryan (Whitney) Deppe, and 
18Dawn (Scott) Berdka; and numerous great and 
19great-great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
  
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
21ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of

1Francis "Frank" Deppe, and extend our sincere condolences to 
2his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it

4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
