SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Deloris Mae Lindal of Waukegan, who 
4passed away on November 17, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Deloris Lindal was born in Lamar, Arkansas to Ray 
6and  Mary Selby on August 12, 1939; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Deloris Lindal was a devoted mother and 
8grandmother; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Deloris Lindal loved historical romance novels 
10and carried them with her whereever she went; she enjoyed 
11spending time with her family and  was an avid bowler; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Deloris Lindal was preceded in death by her 
13father, Ray Selby, and her son, David Koetz; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Deloris Lindal is survived by her mother, Mary; 
15her husband of 34 years, Charles Lindal; her children, Kevin 
16Koetz, Steven Koetz, and Lorinda Reynolds; her grandchildren, 
17Kelly, Dustin, Jessica, Julia, Jason, and Brandon; her 
18great-grandchildren, Kendra, Brysen, Madeline, Rebecca, 
19Gabrielle, Anastasia, and Emily; her sisters, Ellien, Hellen, 
20and Tammy; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews; therefore, be

2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
4Deloris Mae Lindal, and extend our sincere condolences to her 
5family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it 
6further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to  the family of  Deloris Lindal as an expression of 
9our deepest sympathy.
