SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Patricia Ann (Kellher) Gullo, who passed
4away on November 8, 2016; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Patricia Gullo was born in Chicago's Logan Square
6neighborhood on May 28, 1930; she graduated from Josephinum
7Academy of the Sacred Heart and attended Wright Junior College;
8she met her husband Joseph S. Gullo in 1954 and they raised
9their seven children in Oak Park; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Patricia Gullo worked at Max Factor before raising
11her family; she re-entered the workforce when her youngest
12child was in high school; she retired in 1979; she and her
13husband moved to Elmwood Park in 1984; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Patricia Gullo was affectionately known as "Pat"
15or "Patsy"; she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren
16and traveling to Italy, Ireland, Panama, and elder hostels all
17over the United States; she eventually moved to Brookdale
18Senior Living in Oak Park, where she enjoyed good times with
19friends; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Patricia Gullo was a member of the Women's Club at
21St. Edmund Church; she sang with Aeolian Choice and was a Red

1Hat Lady for over 15 years; and
 
2    WHEREAS, Patricia Gullo is survived by her children, Ellyn,
3Karen, Susan (Tim), David (Cindy), Jacquelyn (Joseph), Gregory
4(Helen), and Douglas (Kim); 16 grandchildren; six
5great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins;
6therefore, be it
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
9Patricia Ann Gullo, and extend our sincere condolences to her
10family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
11further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of Patricia Gullo as an expression of
14our deepest sympathy.
