SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of William Paul Sonneborn of Hettick, who 
4passed away on August 28, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, William Sonneborn was born in Hettick to Melvin 
6and Sadie Grace (Armstrong) Sonneborn on February 27, 1932; he 
7graduated from Northwestern High School; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, William Sonneborn served in the United States Army 
9as a Sergeant during the Korean War; he married Donna Joleen 
10Tate in Hettick on April 11, 1952; and
  
 
  
11    WHEREAS, William Sonneborn was preceded in death by his 
12parents; three brothers; three sisters; and a son-in-law, Randy 
13Starkey; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, William Sonneborn is survived by his wife of 64 
15years, Donna Sonneborn; his  daughters, Tammy (Ron) Dugan, and 
16Janna (Larry) Tetzlaff; his  granddaughters, Courtney (Gary) 
17Dugger, and Kelsey Starkey; his grandsons, Mike Dugan, and Jeff 
18Dugan; two great-grandchildren; his sister, Dianna (Tom) 
19Drake, and several nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
2William Paul Sonneborn, and extend our sincere condolences to 
3his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it

5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to  the family of  William Sonneborn as an expression 
7of our deepest sympathy.
