SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Peggy J. Salmon of Springfield, who 
4passed away on November 20, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Peggy Salmon was born in Pittsfield to Russell and 
6Shirley Atkinson Dotson  on May 30, 1951; she married Robert 
7Clinton Salmon in Springfield on June 16, 1967; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Peggy Salmon was a St. Louis Cardinals fan who 
9enjoyed crocheting; she loved her dog, Ginger but most of all, 
10she loved spending time with her beloved grandchildren; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Peggy Salmon was preceded in death by an infant 
12granddaughter, Chelsy Salmon, and her sister Diane Harris; and

  
 
13    WHEREAS, Peggy Salmon is survived by her husband, Robert; 
14her children,  Barb (Tina Allen) Salmon and Robert (Jennifer) 
15Salmon; her four grandchildren, Tabitha (Mike) Calvert, 
16Krystal Salmon, PJ Salmon, and Robert Salmon III; her brother 
17Bud Brooks; and her special nephew, Eddie (Michelle) Brooks; 
18therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
20ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her

1family and friends, mourn the passing of Peggy J. Salmon, and 
2extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all 
3who knew and loved her; and be it further
  
 
4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
5presented to the family of Peggy Salmon as an expression of our 
6deepest sympathy.
