SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Robert D. Kantola of Waukegan, who passed 
4away on November 27, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Robert Kantola was born in Waukegan to Carl and 
6Mary Kantola on February 2, 1948;  he served in the United 
7States Army in the 8th Army 7th Infantry Division in Korea; and
  
 
  
8    WHEREAS, Robert Kantola enjoyed bowling, golfing, and his 
9pets; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Robert Kantola was preceded in death by his 
11parents and his  brothers, Charles, Richard, and Kenneth; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Robert Kantola is survived by his wife of 40 
13years, Patricia (Pidge); his  pets, Avis, and Irwin; his  
14brother, Ronald (Edith) Kantola; his  sister-in-law, Evelyn; 
15and  many nieces, nephews, godchildren,  brothers-in-law, and 
16sisters-in-law; therefore, be it
  
 
17    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
18ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
19Robert D. Kantola, and extend our sincere condolences to his 
20family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
