SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Vincent Hart of Edison Park, who passed 
4away on December 5, 2016, at the age of 83; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Vincent Hart was born to Lillian (Howell) and 
6Thomas Hart, and lovingly raised by his aunt and uncle, 
7Catherine and Wee Daly; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Vincent Hart served in the United States Army 
9during the Korean War; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Vincent Hart retired after 33 years Service to the 
11Chicago Police Department; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Vincent Hart was preceded in death by his parents 
13and his brothers, Bill, Tom, and Jack Hart; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Vincent Hart was the beloved husband of 57 years 
15of  Mary A. (O'Shea); the loving father of Kathleen (Joseph) 
16McDermott, Eileen Hart (Bill Adamick), Jerry (Peggy) Hart, and 
17Megan (Mike) Ryan; the proud grandfather of Michael, Megan, and 
18Katey McDermott, Emily (Bill) O'Hara, Aidan and Nolan Hart, and 
19Nora (Mike) Draniczarek; the great-grandfather of Evelyn 
20O'Hara; and fond uncle of many; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Vincent Hart, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, 
4friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to  the family of  Vincent Hart as an expression of our 
7deepest sympathy.
