SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Donald Carlton West Jr., who passed away 
4on December 4, 2016, at the age of 64; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Donald West Jr. was born in Parkersburg, West 
6Virginia to Donald C. and Vada (Core) West Sr.; he  graduated 
7from Joliet West High School; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Donald West Jr. was the Executive Director of Wish 
9Upon A Star Foundation of Joliet; and
  
 
  
10    WHEREAS, Donald West Jr. was preceded in death by his son, 
11Donald Carlton West III; his parents; his brother, Ronald E. 
12West; and his sisters, Mary Lou Morris, and Helen Daugherty; 
13and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Donald West Jr. is survived by his son, Anthony 
15Nicholas "Booter" (Stephanie) West; his grandchildren, Wyatt 
16Cooper, and Levi James West; his girlfriend, Marjorie Monte; 
17his sister, Ella Staats; his former wife, Delle West; and  
18numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends; therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
20ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of

1Donald Carlton West Jr., and extend our sincere condolences to 
2his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
