SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Norma Mary Foley of Collinsville, who 
4passed away on December 19, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Norma Foley was born in Collinsville to Ronaldo 
6and Margherita (Malano) Sperino on September 30, 1919; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Norma Foley was a retired Certified Nursing 
8Assistant; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Norma Foley was affectionately known as "Mamma"; 
10and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Norma Foley was preceded in death by her husband, 
12James C. Foley; her parents; and her  sister, Katie (Arthur) 
13Leisen; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Norma Foley is survived by her children, Ronald 
15Foley (Diane Rizzo), Elizabeth (Kenneth) Bunetic, Jeri Foley 
16(John Honness), and Michael Foley; her niece, Norma (Virgil) 
17Renth; her  grandchildren, Julie (Jake) Preston, Andrew (Jenna) 
18Foley, Diane Foley, and Jessica Honness (Michael Treece Jr.); 
19her grandnieces, Deborah Renth, and Shelly Gerstner; her 
20great-grandchildren, Tyler Murphy, Briley Bruninga, and Teagan

1Foley; and many other family members and friends; therefore, be

3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
5Norma Mary Foley, and extend our sincere condolences to her 
6family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it 
7further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to  the family of  Norma Foley as an expression of our 
10deepest sympathy.
