| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Kathleen T. Litz of Gurnee, who passed |
| 4 | | away on December 2, 2016; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Kathleen Litz was born in Lake Forest to Thomas J. |
| 6 | | and Mary Jane Moran on January 21, 1944; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Kathleen Litz was involved with her church, |
| 8 | | community, family, and friends; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Kathleen Litz is survived by her mother, Mary Jane |
| 10 | | Moran; her sisters, Avis (Fred) Lennarson, and Mary Jane |
| 11 | | (Terry) Smythe; her brother, Thomas "Tim" J. (Linda) Moran; her |
| 12 | | sons, David (Ashley) Litz, Dennis (Charleen) Litz, and Brooks |
| 13 | | (Rebecca) Litz; her daughter, Elizabeth Ann (Merico) Blackmon; |
| 14 | | eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many |
| 15 | | nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

| 16 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL |
| 17 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 18 | | Kathleen T. Litz, and extend our sincere condolences to her |
| 19 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it |
