SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Sharon Lynn "Sherry" Sales, who passed 
4away on November 16, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Sharon Sales was born in Chicago to LaVerne and 
6Raymond Shreve on July 30, 1949; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Sharon Sales was a devoted mother, grandmother, 
8great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend who could 
9always be counted upon to offer a helping hand to those she 
10loved; she volunteered  for Meals on Wheels and The Angelman 
11Syndrome Foundation; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Sharon Sales enjoyed painting, beading, 
13crocheting, sewing, and cooking; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Sharon Sales was preceded in death by her parents; 
15and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Sharon Sales is survived by Thomas (Jennifer) 
17Schaade, Lori (Mario) Moretti, Jennifer Clark, and Michelle 
18Ciccarelli; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; 
19four sisters; and many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Sharon Lynn "Sherry" Sales, and extend our sincere condolences 
4to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be 
5it further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to  the family of  Sharon Sales as an expression of our 
8deepest sympathy.
