SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Misty Michelle Hammon of White Hall, who
4passed away on December 17, 2016 at the age of 41; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Misty Hammon was born in White Hall to David Allen
6Goodwin and Patricia Lue Hartz on May 30, 1975; she graduated
7from Atwood High School in 1993 and married Richard Lee Hammon
8at Calvary Baptist Church in White Hall on August 4, 2004; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Misty Hammon worked for the Greene County
10Sheriff's Office as a dispatcher; she was an avid fan of the
11St. Louis Cardinals, Alabama football, and North Greene
12Spartans; she also enjoyed camping and spending time with her
13family; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Misty Hammon is survived by her husband, Richard;
15her daughter, Natasha Jordan and her son, Dawson Hammon; her
16stepdaughter, Jennifer (Micheal) Shupert; her father, David
17(Paula) Goodwin; her mother, Patricia (Ken) Wade; her five
18stepgrandchildren, Brittany Kruger, Skylar Garden, Sydnie
19Shupert, Alexis Painter, and Talon Shupert; her four
20stepgrandchildren; her sister, Carrie Reinhart; her
21stepsister, Amy Nichols; her stepbrothers, Shannon, Jeffrey,
22and Matthew Dick; and many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her
3family and friends, mourn the passing of Misty Michelle Hammon,
4and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and
5all who knew and loved her; and be it further
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7presented to the family of Misty Hammon as an expression of our
8deepest sympathy.
