Biography: Kay Hatcher (R-50, Yorkville) received corporate communications training at Boston College’s Carroll School of Management. She was a member of the Oswego school board from 1985 to 1991 and of the Kendall County board from 1991-1996 and 2002 to the present, and has been the president of the Kendall County Forest Preserve District since 2002. She has also been external affairs director for SBC Communications, and senior marketing director for Senior Services Asso­ciates of Crystal Lake, and has served on many local, area, or state civic, business, social service, and women’s organization boards. She is the founder and owner of Reputation Management, Inc. (a media management, planning, and marketing firm). In 2004-05 she was the state president of the Illinois Federation of Republican Women, and a member of the national board of the National Federation of Republican Women. She is currently on the board of governors of Illinois Lincoln Series, which trains prospective Republican women political leaders.
