Biography: Appointed to the Senate in 2020 and lives in Buffalo Grove. She has as bachelor's degree from Columbia College and Master of Jurisprudence from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. She has served on the Buffalo Grove Park District Board of Commissioners for more than nine years, is the immediate past-chairperson of the Illinois Association of Park Districts, and is a member of the Rotary Club of Buffalo Grove. She also served as President of the Buffalo Grove Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce for nearly two years and on the Buffalo Grove Board of Fire and Police Commissioners. Married to husband Bruce and has an adult daughter.
