Biography: State Representative Steve Andersson of Geneva is a licensed attorney and small business owner who grew up in Chicago's south suburbs. He received his undergraduate degree from Northern Illinois University in 1986. After working in the private sector for a few years, he returned to NIU where he completed his Law degree in 1992, Magna Cum Laude. He was admitted to the Illinois Bar that same year. While at NIU, he met his wife Nanette, who he married in 1987. Together, they have two children, Matthew and Sarah. He is a partner in the law firms of Mickey, Wilson, Weiler, Renzi & Andersson, P.C. and the Elder Law Center, P.C. , where he specializes in municipal law and elder law issues.
